  My wife and I approached Richard and the team about 3 years ago with a plot of land and an aspiration to create something special as a home.
  We wanted an active creative role in the process of the design and not an architect inspired solution presented at the end.
  The guys could not have been more understanding and the whole process from start to finish, including a prolonged appeal, was fun and inspirational. Our input was respected and absorbed and the end product was something very different, very efficient and we feel in harmony with its environment.

  Richard Hawkes is an architect with real talent. He insists on clarifying and understanding the thinking behind a client’s requirements and he is keen and well able to contribute to the evolution of those requirements. He is also very willing to challenge the orthodox public sector procurement routes to produce solutions that are cost effective whilst still delivering superb outcomes. Richard is not an aloof professional, he is an architect whose driving ambition is to seek better and forward looking solutions. He is a gem!
